Starting as a Social Media Intern in 2022, he quickly demonstrated his skills in content creation and digital marketing, earning a promotion to Social Media Manager. His innovative approach and leadership abilities led to his appointment as Managing Director of the Nigerian branch, where he oversaw operations, built strategic partnerships, and expanded the company’s footprint across Nigeria. In 2024, Umar stepped away from Istanbul Med Assist to fully focus on his entrepreneurial ventures.
